Dr. Silbernagel is available for appointments four days a week and has morning and evening appointments available for your convenience.   If you a new patient to our office, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to fill out some paperwork or we can fax / e-mail the necessary papers to you.   The actual examination takes approximately 30 minutes, which includes a thorough case history, refraction, binocular vision testing, glaucoma test and retinal evaluation. Your eyes may also need to be dilated, but that will be determined by the doctor on the day of the examination.   Please bring your current glasses or any other old glasses that you still wear to your appointment. If you are a contact lens wearer, if you have the packaging that they came in, this is also helpful.
